The Finance B.S.B.A. program with a Financial Management and Investment Concentration is eligible for freshman students who want to participate in an Eight-Semester Degree Completion Program. The plan below lists a semester-by-semester sequence of courses to finish the degree in eight semesters. Information about the University Core courses is listed in a chart at the bottom of this page.
Courses in BOLD must be taken in semester as designated. Courses in ITALICS may be taken in varied sequences as long as other designated requirements for these courses are met. Although other courses listed are not required to be completed in the designated sequence, the recommendations noted are preferred.
1 must be taken prior to Fall Semester of Sophomore Year
2 must be taken prior to Fall Semester of Junior Year
3 must be taken prior to Fall Semester of Senior Year
4If student selects Option 2 (FINN 4143 and 4153) they must take ACCT 3013 as a junior senior business elective in Fall of their junior year, ACCT 3723 as a junior senior business elective in Spring of their junior year, and FINN 3063 as either a junior senior business elective or a finance/interdisciplinary elective in Spring of their junior year. If student selects Option 3 (FINN 4163 and 4173) they must take FINN 3063 as either a junior senior business elective or a finance/interdisciplinary elective in their junior year.
