This major requires a summer field camp after the junior
year so it is ineligible for participation in the Eight-Semester Degree
Completion Programs. However, students can complete the Geology B.S. program in
four years by following the nine-semester plan listed below. A Geology B.A. program is available in the eight-semester programs as well.
Core areas a, b, c, d, e, and f referred to in the nine-semester plan can be found in the Fulbright College B.S. Core Requirement Areas at the bottom of this page. Core requirement hours may vary by individual, based on placement and previous credit granted. Once all core requirements are met, students may substitute a three-hour (or more) general elective in place of a core area.
